Knobwell Keypad Deadbolt with Door Knob – Electronic Keyless Entry

I have a couple smart lax around my house that are a few years old, but I have to admit they were quite complicated to set up and get working. I'm still using them to this day. Because once they got set up, everything was good.

I decided to get a smart lock for my dad's house because he's gonna have caregivers coming in and out and I can give them individual codes. But I have to admit I was a little nervous about setting up a smart block because of the difficulty I had in the past.

Nothing to worry about with this lock. It is Bluetooth enabled and very easy to set up. From the time I took the old deadbolt out. And had this new one in and fully working. Was only about 20 minutes.

You start with just taking your old deadbolt out. If you already have the holes, this will fit perfectly. If you do not have holes, it does come with a handy template to make it easier for you.

If you followed the directions, you will have no problem installing it. It has a handy little plate that holds it to the deadbolt and then you just plug it in and install the batteries and the physical install is all done. And the insulation manual there is a QR code to bring you to the download for the app for your phone.

Once you open the app, you have to set up an account of course. And granite whatever permissions your phone is asking for. Then once you pair it with the lock, you have full use.

Installing different codes happens in a matter of seconds. It's literally give the code a name put in the number and it works. Using my thumb print to unlock was also very easy to set up. Very similar to the way you used to do it on an iPhone.

So far locking and locking has been a breeze whether I use the code or my finger. And I really like the fact that I can give my dad's help individual lock codes so if there's a problem in the future, they can be quickly removed. I'm assuming I will have to do it with my phone near the lock since it's Bluetooth and not Wi-Fi enabled.

Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with this.

This deadbolt and knob were fairly easy to install. And it operates easily and effectively using either a fingerprint, key, passcode or through the app. The app is also easy to navigate to set up passcodes and fingerprints and to lock or unlock the deadbolt. The outside part of the lock is made of metal, which is good and solid. The inside half is made of plastic and not as durable as a result, but at least it is not exposed to the elements so should be fine. It requires standard AA (non-rechargeable) batteries to operate and if those batteries die on you and you are locked out without access to the key, then there is a USB-C input on the outside of the lock so you can plug in a USB-C-based power source to it to get the lock to operate. Overall, it has a full range of features and is a good choice if you need a smart lock.

I recently upgraded my front door with the KNOBWELL electronic keypad deadbolt, and I'm genuinely impressed with how seamless the transition to keyless entry has been. This lock delivers on convenience, security, and surprising ease of use, especially considering its accessible price point.

I waited a few months to write this review because I wanted to test the lock functionality, and I can confidently say this lock is a great value for the money. The lock functions as advertised and fits my needs perfectly. It was very easy to install, took me about 15 minutes to do, and it is easy to use. It looks fantastic against my red door and it looks very sleek with the matching door knob. I love that you can add users and assign different codes to the users! My kids each have a different code! I 10/10 recommend this smart lock set.

We are replacing all of our locks on our house with keyless, the ones that we previously had were pretty old and didn't come with apps to control remotely. My husband chose this as one of our replacement locks, he hasn't put it on yet, but he has inspected it. This is what he said. "Nice deadbolt entry lock with the finger print option that will be nice for our kids to use. Also I like the app to use that we can unlock it remotely. I recommend this deadbolt lock if someone is wanting an upgrade for their entry doors." It looks very nice as well, as you can see from the pictures. Everything came well packed and even comes with matching door knobs, which we decided we are not going to use because we do want to have locks even on our door knobs. I wish they would've included a locking door knob with keys, but that's a small complaint for a nice lock!
